S2 E2 - How to Journal to Self Acceptance w/ Rachel Havekost
Show Notes

Can writing really be the solution to your problems? Today’s guest is a huge advocate for using journaling as our own personal guide to healing.

Rachel Havekost is an ex-therapist, world traveler, and mental health writer. She tells stories from her time as a client in therapy and a therapist. So meta. Her passion is writing about mental health, providing tangible coping skills to all humans (specifically guided journaling templates), and being super real about the stuff we all deal with but don't always say out loud.

Rachel shares from her personal experience of working through an eating disorder, depression, and perfectionism through many different tools, including therapy, group work, education, journaling, and more. She’s passionate about sharing all she knows.

In this episode, we talk about:

  • The power of seeking help and community
  • What happens when we really step into our potential
  • Why journaling is a tool we should all be using
  • Ways to create self-care habits
  • How to say kind things to ourselves
